Matt LeBlanc is an American actor and comedian who was born and brought up in Newton, Massachusetts, U.S. He is best known for his portrayal of dim-witted yet well-intentioned womanizer Joey Tribbiani in the NBC sitcom Friends as well as in its spin-off series Joey.

For LeBlanc’s work on Friends, he received three Emmy Award nominations. LeBlanc has also starred as a fictionalized version of himself in Episodes (2011–2017), for which LeBlanc won a Golden Globe Award and received four additional Emmy Award nominations. LeBlanc co-hosted Top Gear from 2016 to 2019. As of 2019, LeBlanc plays Adam Burns in Man with a Plan.
