Jack William Nicklaus (born January 21, 1940) is a retired professional golfer and golf course designer from the United States. He is known as “The Golden Bear.” He is largely regarded as one of golf’s all-time greats.

Over the course of his career, he won 117 professional tournaments. He won 18 major championships in his quarter-century career, three more than Tiger Woods.
