Mikey was born in San Diego California on 26th June 2004. s. His father (Mahlon) was a basketball player and his mother (Charissa) played softball in high school. From his parents, Mikey was introduced to basketball from birth. Surprisingly his mother taught him how to dribble at six months after she learned the boy got excited about seeing a ball.

He started playing at the age of 4 at his local YMCA. His talent started showing when he was in elementary school. Williams’s father discovered the boys’ interest in basketball and started mentoring him when he was 10. His father ensured Mikey remained focused.

Mikey practiced dunks and did his first dunk in fifth grade. His favorite dunks are east bay and windmill which he does quite often.

Career

Mikey was raised by his basketball-playing father. Actually, he was lucky to hold a basketball when he was just a toddler. He enjoyed playing outside his apartment. He worked as a ball boy for San Ysidro High School head coach as he was so much attached to the gym

Mikey’s great skills in basketball were noticed when he was about 13 years of age. He could dunk while playing. He started by playing for a team called Malcolm Thomas All-star which is known to be one of the best teams in the country. Williams was placed as the topmost player in the 7th and 8th-grade boy’s class of 2023 top 50.

From this Mikey received offers around the United States playing against other top-ranked players like LeBron James Jr. He also received offers from colleges such as Arizona and San Diego State both of which are NCAA Division programs.

He joined Amateur Athletic Union and has been receiving a lot of support from several NBA Star including LeBron James whom he describes as his favorite player. Mikey prefers to attend college at UCLA which he says he is its big fan.
