Moises May (age: 36, born in 1987) is a man in Kentucky who was arrested after police claimed that he kidnapped his girlfriend in Louisville’s Park Hill neighborhood. Moises forced the woman to strip naked and used a machete to slash her hair.

The woman was rescued after she broke the second-floor window and called neighbors for help. Soon, police arrived, discovering no way to enter the home as all the entrances were barricaded.

Police Arrived At Moises’s Room

The Louisville Metropolitan Police Department swiftly responded to a residence at approximately 7 p.m. following reports from concerned neighbors who had heard the distressed cries of a woman emanating from a broken window.

Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers encountered a situation where the entire ground floor had been barricaded.

Despite their attempts to force entry through doors and windows, their efforts proved futile. Eventually, one resourceful officer located a nearby ladder and ascended to the second floor.

Upon entering the room, the officer discovered the woman trembling, distressed, and in tears. She had a metal dog chain around her neck, secured by a MasterLock and anchored to the floor.

The officer utilized an axe to free the chain from its floor fixture. Medical assistance was promptly summoned, and paramedics attended to the woman at the scene. Using bolt cutters, they carefully removed the chain from around her neck.

Pleaded Not Guilty

Police took Moises May into custody two days following the incident. The 36-year-old now confronts multiple charges, including kidnapping, wanton endangerment, and assault.

Currently, May is in detention at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and made a court appearance on August 28, 2023.

May Has a Daughter

In an interview, Jonna Wilson, Moises’ girlfriend, revealed that she has a daughter from May. She told during the interview that in 2022, she gave birth to a daughter inside her bathroom.

According to Jonna, Moises did not help her when giving birth, so she had to call 911 for help. The emergency services took the child to the hospital, where the doctor saved her life.

Due to May’s violent behavior, she moved out of the house and started maintaining distance, but one day, the man asked her to help clean the house.
