Anne Arundel County Police reported that a 21-year-old motorcyclist died in a multi-vehicle crash in Curtis Bay on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim, Shawn Michael Lilly from Glen Burnie, was pronounced dead at Shock Trauma after the accident at Fort Smallwood Road and Energy Parkway.

According to police, the incident occurred around 4 p.m. when Lilly was driving a 2022 Suzuki motorcycle south on Fort Smallwood Road.

The motorcycle collided with a 2022 Toyota 4-Runner, which was turning left onto Energy Parkway.

Subsequently, the motorcycle hit a 2023 Acura, which was driving east on Energy Parkway. The impact caused Lilly to be ejected from the motorcycle, which then came to a stop.

Police confirmed that the driver of the 4-Runner, Samuel Antonio Garcia Aidoo, and the Acura’s driver, Matthew William Woods, were not injured in the collision.

However, the impact was fatal for Lilly, who suffered severe injuries.
