The national championship at The Country Club this week will be the 26year oldβs fourth U.S. Open appearance. Nearly over half a decade earlier, he made his debut at Chambers Bay and finished 52nd.
He also qualified in 2016 and 2019 but failed to make the cut both times. Hardy has come a long way since his U.S. Open debut when he recalls getting nervous standing over his ball on the first tee and being starstruck while warming up next to Tiger Woods on the practice green.
He is currently engaged to Liz Elmassian, his long-term lover after they have been dating for quite some time now.
