His fiancée Holly verified the sad news in a Facebook post on Wednesday that aspiring rapper and YouTuber S.dot, aka Dotarachi, had passed away after undergoing heart surgery. He was 27.

As a result of having a congenital cardiac problem from birth, S.dot has had to undergo numerous heart operations.

The drill rapper from Chicago scored a regional hit with the song “Skrilla.”

The leader of the 485 rap group was a Black Disciples associate from Chicago’s 600 gang. Eventually, he and his then-girlfriend Holly became famous YouTubers, and he released music on his channel, DotarachiVevo.

The “Holly and Sdot” YouTube channel posted a heartfelt video of S.dot pleading for prayers before he underwent surgery to repair a tear in his aorta, the body’s primary artery responsible for transporting oxygenated blood to the rest of the body.

As for me, Holly, I’m at a loss. Her words to S.dot before she sobbed, “I kind of feel sad but I try not to feel sad because I don’t want you to feel sad,” ring true.

“It’s kind of like… I don’t know what to say to comfort you, and I feel helpless. I get that you’re advising me to “be realistic,” but… what do you say? Just try to approach it with an optimistic mindset.”

In a reply, S.dot said

“From the outside, people are wondering, “You gon’ be good?” You going to do well? What if, though, I turn out to not be very good? But what if I’m just not very good?”

In the end, he told Holly he loved her but that she needed to move on without him.

When asked about Sdot, Holly said

, “He made his transition. Although I am devastated, I take comfort in the knowledge that he is now watching over us. Cardi B, a singer in her twenties, posted a picture of SDOT with the caption “Rip SDot” on Twitter.

Holly, the girlfriend of YouTuber SDOT, revealed the cause of death. Her statement suggests that SDOT’s death was caused by cardiac issues.

Fans and friends of SDOT were quick to express their sorrow to his family after hearing the tragic news of his passing. Fans also posted heartfelt messages of tribute to the YouTuber on Twitter.
