Shannon Floyd, 36, of Clayton NC passed away on December 18, 2022, at Wake Med. She was born in Neptune, NJ to Athena Floyd and the late David Gaines.

A service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the former Eaton Johnson Middle School. Viewing will be held from 1pm-4pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in the funeral home.

Survivors include her daughter, Payton N. Floyd; her mother, Athena Floyd; her siblings, Ryanne Sassano, Anthony Terry, Shamiya Valez, Jaimeer Gaines, James Joyner, Derrell Harris, and David Gaines; 5 aunts, 5 uncles, and a host of other relatives.
