Ahmad Djalili and Parvaneh Djalili are celebrity parents who happen to be the parents of Omid Djalili. They were said to have immigrated to Britain from Iran in 1957 to start a family together. They were said to have left Iran to escape religious persecution in the Islamic Revolution.
Even though they are celebrity parents, they chose a private life hence, little or no personal information including their date of birth is known, however, they gave birth to their son, Omid on 30 September 1965.
He attended Holland Park School and then Ulster University in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, studying English and theatre studies.

It is believed that both parents of Omid are alive as there is no news of their demise on the web. His father according to him is in his mid-80s and is stunned by what he does.
According to him, his mother was a nurse and a cook, and his father translator and driver.
