R. Kelly’s girlfriend Joycelyn Savage attempted to tell her story to fans for a fee via the membership website Patreon, but they have shut down her account and refunded everyone’s money. According to a new report, Patreon shut down the account because they couldn’t verify her identity.

Last week, an unverified Instagram account that claims to be Savage promised fans that she would tell them the truth about her relationship with the Ignition singer if they were willing to pay to hear it.

“There’s something I need to reveal, something I should’ve talked about a long time ago. This is my story!” read the post.

Savage claimed she would be violating the non-disclosure agreement that she signed with Kelly, but she said she partnered with Patreon because she needed to get the truth out. Savage – or someone who claimed to be her – said she would post daily chapters of her story. And, the things she was going to reveal were never supposed to see the light of day.

The 24-year-old supposedly wrote that she would be risking her life for many others, and it was for mature audiences only.

“I want to make sure my story is very detailed as I can remember. My first story ‘Where It All Started’ is out now. read the Instagram post.

On Patreon, the first post said that Savage was a victim of Kelly, and she claimed that he was so controlling that he would only allow her to refer to him as “Daddy” or “Master.” The post also alleged that Kelly would lock Savage up, choke her, and even forced her to get an abortion.

According to The Blast, Kelly’s lawyer Steve Greenberg said after the Instagram post that it’s unfortunate that Savage is trying to make money by exploiting her “long time, loving relationship with Robert.” But, then he said that they couldn’t confirm the page belonged to Savage.

Patreon says they tried several times to confirm the page belonged to Savage, but were unsuccessful. On Tuesday, they shut the account down permanently after more than 1,800 people paid for a membership, and all of the money was refunded.

“After multiple unsuccessful attempts to verify the identity of the account holder, we closed the Patreon page allegedly associated with Joycelyn Savage due to potential impersonation. All patrons who signed up for the membership page were refunded and the creator did not receive any funds,” said Patreon in a statement to Rolling Stone.

The family of Joycelyn Savage – who have tried to get her back for years – believes the page did belong to her, and they are asking law enforcement to get involved to determine where Savage is and who is behind the account that detailed possible crimes.
