DJ Super Snake, a prominent Phoenix radio icon, passed away early Saturday morning. He had spent decades on the Valley airwaves, first making a name for himself on the old Power 92 radio station. After spending several years in New York, he returned to Phoenix in 2022 and most recently was a DJ for HOT 97.5 and 103.9 FM.

His family expressed their deep sadness and gratitude for the support they received. Super Snake was set to host the “Super New Year’s Eve Experience” tomorrow night, but it has been cancelled due to his sudden passing.
