Randall Robinson, an African-American lawyer, novelist, and activist, was born on July 6, 1941.

TransAfrica is credited with being founded by him. He is well known for his vehement opposition to apartheid, advocacy of Haitian immigration, and for having been a supporter of former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide. Robinson left the United States for St. Kitts in 2001 because he didn’t like American society.

Robinson was born to teachers Doris Robinson Griffin and Maxie Cleveland Robinson in Richmond, Virginia. Max Robinson, a late ABC News anchorman, was his older brother. Randall Robinson continued his education at Harvard Law School after earning his degree from Virginia Union University, where he obtained a J.D. [6] He also has two sisters, the elder actress Jewel Robinson and the younger pastor Jean Robinson. Both sisters live and work in the Washington, D.C., area.

He and his ex-wife had two children together: Jabari Robinson, a son, and Anike Robinson, a daughter. His only child from his marriage to Hazel Ross-Robinson is Khalea Ross Robinson.

Robinson practiced civil rights law in Boston from 1971 to 1975 before working for U.S. Congressman Bill Clay (1975) and acting as Congressman Charles Diggs’ administrative assistant (1976). He was Ford’s property.
