Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane might find their divorce dismissed by the courts if they do not take specific steps.

The Superior Court of Los Angeles has issued a stern warning to the estranged couple, follow steps to move forward with the divorce or the case will be dismissed. Court documents obtained by People magazine outlined specifically what Dane and Gayheart need to do, which is they need to submit their judgment.

If they choose to do so, the couple could submit a dismissal, and that would stop the divorce proceedings from moving forward too. However, if the parents of two do nothing, then the case will automatically be dismissed by the courts.

Reps for both Dane and Gayheart have issued a statement regarding the status of their impending divorce. The couple has also not commented on the state of their relationship. It has been a year and a half since the former Beverly Hills 90210 starlet filed for divorce from the Grey’s Anatomy hunk.

She was seeking joint custody of their child, as well as spousal support from her husband. Dane has been steadily working since the marriage, while her career has taken a backseat to their family.

“After 14 years together, we have decided that ending our marriage is the best decision for our family. We will continue our friendship and work as a team to co-parent our two beautiful girls as they are the most important thing in the world to us. We kindly ask that you respect our privacy during this time as we navigate the next phase of our lives,” Dane shared in a statement regarding the divorce back in 2018 once the divorce news broke.

Although at the time the paperwork was filed, the couple cited irreconcilable differences perhaps they have changed their minds. They are parents to two daughters, Billie age 9 and Georgia age 7. There is a possibility Dane and his one-time lady love have chosen to work out their marital problems instead of calling it quits.

The court has issued a warning to Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart, finalize the divorce or else it might go away. They are not talking about what is going on, but soon fans will know what is going on because the divorce might just disappear.
