According to responding officer Julie Beskin, Hyde was clocked going 57 mph in a 40 mph zone and was also seen texting while driving, as reported by SNN. During the stop, Hyde threatened the officer’s job, according to the body camera footage.

The officer writes Hyde citations for speeding, texting, and driving, as well as failing to provide the officer with his registration. Hyde requested that her supervisor respond, as well as a backup unit, citing “the driver being extremely uncooperative.”

“We’re going to make sure she pays for being disrespectful,” Hyde told one of the officers who arrived as backup.

The congressional candidate then threatened the officer’s career with the police department.

Martin Hyde Body Cam Footage Of Threatening The Cop

The bodycam footage of Martin Hyde threatening the cope is going viral on social media. He is receiving a lot of negative feedback as a result of his actions, which may jeopardize his candidacy.

The responding officer, Beskin is seen approaching Hyde’s vehicle at the start of the video and telling him he’s being recorded and why he was pulled over.

When Hyde asked if the officer was going to arrest him, the officer replied that he was going to provide her with his registration. As the officer continued to ask Hyde for his paperwork, they had another back and forth about his registration.
