Connery loves snacking on fresh fruit, especially mango and strawberries. "Strawberries give you a lot of nutritional value for very few calories," says Bailey Flora, MS, RDN, LD. "They're tasty but naturally low in sugar. That's a combination that's hard to beat."
Connery enjoys swimming and snorkeling, especially in beautiful locations. "Swimming can improve mood in both men and women," says the CDC. "For people with fibromyalgia, swimming can decrease anxiety, and exercise therapy in warm water can decrease depression and improve mood."
Connery loves nothing better than skiing trips with her close friends. "Great news for those that have been skiing for many years; you've been strengthening those joints and making an injury later in life less likely the whole time," say the experts at the University of New Hampshire. "In addition to strengthening your knees your bones become stronger as well because skiing is a weight bearing activity."
Connery is a big fan of yoga, especially aerial yoga. Connery is confident in the kitchen, and makes a mean roast beef with crispy roast potatoes. "In general, the darker the potato, the more antioxidants it contains," says UC Davis Health. "Sweet potatoes are a good source of vitamin A, an important nutrient for immunity and eye health. Purple potatoes are rich in antioxidants including anthocyanins which may prevent heart disease and cancer and boost brain health."
