Sean McDermott is a professional American football head coach of the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. Sean commenced his coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he served as an assistant coach from 2001.

Between the years 2009 and 2010, Sean McDermott served as defensive coordinator for the Eagles after which played the same role for the Carolina Panthers from 2011 to 2016. After a successful work at the Panthers, Sean McDermott was named in “Super Bowl 50.”

In 2017, Sean McDermott was announced as the head coach of Buffalo Bills. McDermott made a great transformation as he led them to their first playoff appearance since 1999. Additionally, McDermott coached the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC East in 2020.
