It’s official! Fans of Selena Gomez can finally look forward to listening to some brand new music from the star since she has confirmed an album is currently in the works.

But while the songstress is very excited to drop something after a very difficult year, that is not to say she is not also nervous about the new album.

Selena Gomez has been caught by the paparazzi spending time at the studio a lot in the last few months.

As a result, speculations that she was working on new tracks that would be released soon, started going around!

It turns out that social media users were totally right! This week, the 26 year old singer took to IG Live to update her followers on new music she has in store for them.

‘I’m currently in the studio right now. It is going really good,’ Gomez informed everyone.

She then added that ‘I’m just nervous about it, honestly, because I feel like the next few choices that I’m gonna make are very crucial. So, I am trying to be really, really diligent and just patient with everything.’

At this time, the release date for the album is still not public.

Fortunately, however, fans are not completely left with nothing until then since Selena was featured on two new tracks not too long ago.

At the end of January, she collabed with Julia Michaels on a song titled ‘Anxiety,’ part of Michaels’ EP, Inner Monologue Part I.

About a month later, Selena also teamed up with J Balvin, Tainy and Benny Blanco to release a track named ‘I Can’t Get Enough.’
