Steve Liesman is an American media personality serving as CNBC’s senior economics reporter. He also appears on “Squawk Box” as well as other CNBC programs throughout the business day and previously worked for the Wall Street Journal where he served as a senior economics reporter as well as the business editor for The Moscow Times.

“I just learned from that to treat people nicely in negotiations and listen to their side,” he said. “It worked out really well, but I still don’t know to this day what he said to that salesman.”
