Sydney McLaughlin grew up with three siblings, Taylor, Morgan and Ryan. They all compete in track and field.

Sydney McLaughlin Siblings

• Taylor McLaughlin

Taylor McLaughlin is the older brother and the eldest of McLaughlin’s siblings. He was born on August 3, 1997, in Dunellen, New Jersey. Like his parents, Taylor ran track at Union Catholic high school.

In his sophomore year, he won several All-American honours and set a new record for the state sophomore category in the 400-metre hurdles.

• Morgan McLaughlin

Morgan McLaughlin was born on May 5, 1994. She attended Union Catholic High School like other McLaughlin siblings. She competed in track and field, taking part in the 100 metres hurdles, 200 metres and long jump competitions.

After high school, she joined St. Peters University, where she competed in the women’s track and field team, where she was an exemplary athlete.

• Ryan McLaughlin

Ryan McLaughlin is the youngest of the McLaughlin siblings. He also attended the Union Catholic High School where he continued the family’s legacy by competing in the track and field team.
