Tragedy struck in a high-speed chase involving a stolen vehicle and a Rockwall County sheriff’s deputy, resulting in the loss of lives.

One of the individuals involved in the incident has been identified as Taylor Phimmasone, also known as “Tay Phimm.” The fatal car chase occurred during the early hours of a Thursday.

Law enforcement agencies report that two individuals lost their lives while attempting to elude a responding deputy in a stolen Dodge Charger. The incident began when an officer in Rockwall County noticed three cars parked on the shoulder of Interstate 30, their lights turned off. This discovery led to a high-speed pursuit that continued until just after midnight. Another deputy observed the cars committing multiple traffic violations and attempted to intervene.

Despite flashing his lights, the drivers of the vehicles continued their course in different directions. The deputy chose to pursue a black Dodge Charger that was headed north on Texas 205. The chase progressed through Wylie and Sachse, with the Charger continuing west on Texas 78.

The vehicle’s attempt to enter the President George Bush Turnpike was thwarted by a concrete barrier, resulting in a collision.
