The fate of ‘Braxton Family Values’ was left up in the air the last time the series aired. The WE TV show is back for another season and finds the sisters at a standstill caused by a heartbreaking tragedy.

Toni, Tamar, Trina, Traci, and Towanda are all returning for the seventh installment. Although the sisters seemed to have settled their beef at Iyanla Vanzant’s weekend counseling getaway, the teaser for the new season questions whether everything is really okay between the siblings.

Even if there is some unresolved drama between the ladies they will be forced to come together in support of Trina who appears get the news that her ex-husband, Gabe Solis, has passed away. The short clip finds Trina sobbing and telling cameras to leave.

The tragedy was a shock to the public when the story was broken by TMZ without the family’s consent.

Trina took to Instagram to mourn her late husband with a sweet photo.

Her caption read, in part: “On December 20, 2018, a chapter permanently closed for my sons and I. For over 16 years, Gabe Solis was an essential part of our lives. Like all families, there are good and bad moments that are endured, but those moments, good or bad still made us who we are in the present. Unfortunately, someone leaked the story before we could make everyone aware of his passing, and I apologize to those friends and family members for finding out through social outlets. I also apologize directly to the Solis Family. I do humbly ask for your prayers for our families, but my greatest request is that when you are posting comments, remember Gabe’s passing is a loss for our family.”

This season will also deal with Toni Braxton and Birdman’s rumored breakup. When viewers last tuned in, Toni was having trouble setting a date for the nuptials — something that Birdman was extremely upset about.
