Tess Frazer was born on 28 January 1991 in New York City, New York, USA. Her acting career started as a young girl, first performing on stage. She continued acting as an adult, first appearing in the 2013 short film Light Rider. After this, she appeared in an episode of the TV series The Slap. At the same time, she had a minor role in the TV movie Fan Girl.

In 2016, she made her feature film debut in the movie Café Society, though she only had a small role. Perhaps Frazer’s first notable role on the screen was as Callie Dunne in the miniseries, Godless.
