Wendy Williams is going through the roughest time of her life while it all plays out in the media — the exact business she works in. A new report goes in depth of just how controlling Kevin Hunter allegedly is.

Sources close to Wendy claim that Kevin has her under his spell. He owns basically half of everything that his wife does which makes it even harder if Wendy tries to leave him.

Hunter isolates the host from her friends and family. Even people she’s grown close to on the set of her show aren’t as friendly as they once were because Kevin forces her to be tight-lipped.

The most shocking revelation was that the man she’s been married to nearly three decades doesn’t even allow her to have her own cell phone. He reportedly wants to monitor everything she does.

This is a tactic used by many abusive partners. Hunter allegedly did his best to keep Wendy from finding out about the shocking news that he welcomed a baby girl with his mistress, Sharina Hudson.

Inevitably, Williams found out anyway and it sent her on a downward spiral. She checked out of the sober home she has been living in and went missing. When she was found she had relapsed with alcohol and was rushed to the hospital where she was given an IV bag of fluids.

“She was in a bad way and disappeared from the studio after her show Monday. She went back to the sober house only to check herself out and decided to start drinking. It’s not clear where she went but she headed in the direction of her home in Jersey and managed to find alcohol along the way,” the source told the Daily Mail.

You wouldn’t know it because Wendy delivered a relatively normal show Tuesday morning — the day after the reported relapse! Today, the 54-year-old announced that her program will be taking a previously scheduled break in April.
