Elizabeth Anne Holmes is a prominent biotechnology entrepreneur from the United States who was accused of criminal fraud.

The 38-year-old was born and raised in Washington, D.C., the United States by her biological parents  Christian Holmes IV and Noel Holmes.

Her dad, Christian happened to be the vice president of Enron, an energy firm that went bankrupt after a scandal involving accounting fraud.

Holmes was romantically connected with Ramesh  Balwani, a Pakistani-born Hindu who emigrated to India and later the United States.
