The home-schooled 17-year-old teenager was inspired to kill his family members from the horror movie called Halloween. He had watched the movie two-three times before he made up his mind to murder his mother and sister.

He wanted to kill with his knife but later used a gun so that Jamie and Mallory won’t feel any pain. He didn’t have any mental problems, but the crime he did made people shiver.

Murderer Jake Evans’s Case is one of a kind as he was the culprit in killing his mother Jamie Evan and his sister Mallory Evans.

He is from Parker County, Texas, and was a former Aledo High School student who left the school in January 2012 and got homeschooled.

A family friend, Leslie Richardson, expressed Evans as a quiet and gentle person. Everything seemed okay with Evans’s family until Jake committed such a heinous crime.

Jake had two more sisters and his grandparents. He looked happy in the graduation photo of her sister. Before he committed murder, he fought with Mallory and described her as racist.

He also expressed how his family member was becoming the person he hates the most. Similarly, he confessed all his deeds in a four-page which was brought in his trial in October.

In his confession, Jake has clearly stated how he got influenced by the movie to commit such a crime and detailed how he shot his sister and mother. He had contemplated before going rampant kill on his family member.

Jake Evans is still in the prison in Darrington Facilityin 2022, where he is serving the punishment for the charge of Capital murder. After killing his mother and sister, he called 911 and informed them that he has killed his mother and sister.

He knew that the things he had done will change his life, and he won’t see his mom and sister ever. Jake was never a violent kid but how he could do such a crime remains a matter of shock for many people.

He surrendered himself to the police and underwent a trial that sentenced him to prison and publicized his four-page confession.

Jake Evans has been jail sentenced to 45 years in prison and would be eligible to get parole after he completes at least half his sentence.

After he was sentenced to prison, his mug shot photos from the Parker County Sheriff’s Office were released on the internet. He is now serving in prison and will be released from prison in 2057.
