According to the New York Daily News, Mary Jo Buttafuoco wed print shop owner Stu Tendler in 2012 during a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas.

However, they got separated in 2018. As per court filing, the couple divorce mentioning that their tastes and personalities differ from one another to live longer together in their marriage.

Only a few months had passed since the divorce was finalized when Tendler died suddenly, and Buttafuoco was not mentioned in his obituary when it was published.
