Disney released a holiday competition show named Best In Snow on its platform. It was filmed in Keystone, Colorado.

Tituss Burgess is the host of the show. As per the trailer, five teams worldwide will take family favorites such as Moana, Coco, and The Lion King and bring them to the Snow by building the sculptures.

They will have four days to complete their work while coordinating with their team members. Then, to watch who will take the title home, viewers can stream it on Disney+.

Where Was Best In Snow Filmed?

Best In Snow is a holiday special competition series where teams worldwide are brought to a magical snowy village. They have to compete with each other to win the title of Best In Snow, where they are required to transform ten-foot, twenty-ton blocks of Snow into beautiful creations inspired by Marvel. Pixar, Walt Disney Animation, Walt Disney Studios, and The Muppets Studios.

According to WJBF, the series was filmed in Keystone, Colorado, and coincidentally, it has a local connection with one of the couples from Augustus named Que Butler and Emmanuel Butler.

Their team is named Hakuna Matata and includes Que Butler, Emmanuel Butler, Ron Way, and Charmeka Love. When the pair were cast for the show, they were asked to find two other people to complete their team, and they chose their friends.

Sharing her experience, she said it was like none other as it was pleasant to work with, and it was very accommodating. She also added that since she was born in the 80s and raised in the 90s, Disney meant everything to her.

She added that the opportunity taught her not to be scared of the unknown but to embrace new experiences and live life to the fullest.

Colorado Filming Locations For Best In Snow

The series Best In Snow was filmed in Keystone, Colorado. The contestants are transported to a magical village named Snowdome, where they have to create sculptures inspired by Marvel. Pixar, Walt Disney Animation, Walt Disney Studios, and The Muppets Studios from a block of Snow.

Snowdome is the village’s name in the series, but in reality, an indoor ski slope with the same name exists in England, but it probably does not have any other connection with the series.

There is not much information provided about the specific location of the series, but it is seen that everywhere is Snow, so many think that it could be a village set up in a ski resort.

Colorado is known as one of the best locations to shoot holiday movies. The 2010 Christmas movie named The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation, Dumb and Dumber, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Elves and Winter in Vail have scenes shot in places located in Colorado.
