Born to Togolese and mixed Canadian parents, Tennis player Felix Auger Aliassime has advanced to the Quarters of the US Open after defeating Tiafoe.

Felix Auger Aliassime is a professional Candian tennis player who has now reached the US Open quarter Finals.

The game took place on Sunday night at Arthur Ashe Stadium where Aliassime drifted past Frances Tiafoe with the fourth round victory.

The game ended with the score of 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(6), and 6-4 in favour of Felix Auger, reports ATP Tour.

With consecutive quarter-finals entries in two recent grand slams, the Canadian athlete will be sure to move past his last failure in Wimbledon to reach his first-ever grand slam semi-finals.

Even though the player is still quite young, he is no rookie though. Aliassime became the second-youngest player to rank in the top 20 in men’s ranking in July 2021.

He ranked up at no. 15 in the ATP world ranking which he still holds.
