The broadcaster Appleton had appeared with his husband on his social page. Even during the coronavirus lockdown, he had mentioned him on free workout sessions.

The couple is a yoga teacher. So, they offered free meditation and yoga during the pandemic. The broadcaster felt lucky to have found a supportive and understanding husband, Daniel. They had lived together in a 1930s French sea captain’s cottage with their dog Ben in the port of Newhaven.

Appleton shared the last picture of his husband Martin on June 11 when The Alistair Mug arrived. The broadcaster loved the cup and pinned, ‘I love it (and him) very much.’

On March 28, Appleton shared the picture of when his husband Martin’s work got successed. He mentioned after months of work, @thepilgrimpotter had ultimately opened his brand-new shop. The potter was holding cups in his hand.

He has made bowls, plates, tipsy cups, incense burners, oil diffusers, and candle sticks in his shop. The British Broadcaster felt giddy to sew everything Martin created. Besides this, Appleton even shared some links in his story.

Appleton shared the same picture two times before on his Facebook and Instagram. The potter was holding his new macchiato cups, which the presenter thought super stylish.

He mentioned his partner continued his adventures in the kiln. He was excited for the alchemical moment to watch what came next in his life. The presenter even shared Daniel’s work on a set of beautiful macchiato cups in November 2021.

Martin last posted the couple’s picture on April 17, when they had their first swim of the year. According to Martin, it was the first swim in his life. The two mentalists have been going in every day. However, the potter is not sure 30 seconds counts as a swim, but he got wet.

After that, on April 18, Appleton had a bank holiday on Monday morning. They had been sea-swim, had white bean porridge, and drunk tea from his new big mug by Martin knitting.

On June 26, 2021, Appleton and Martin spent quality time in Newhaven, East Sussex. They had different varieties of breakfast and cups of tea in the cafe.

On November 28, 2020, Appleton posted a clip where Martin knitted his poncho over a zoom meeting during MSPS Craft Circle on a Sunday afternoon. He felt happy to hear his partner knitting with other crafters worldwide.

The  psychotherapist mentioned the groups on MSPs are taking on their own life. They shared Shiatsu, a book club, discussion groups, and an international craft circle every Sunday at 3 pm in the UK. They shared the idea of Knit, crocheting, puzzle, and chatting.

Daniel and Alistair are mostly gone for vacation in their newly converted van. On July 24, 2020, they had a holiday trip for almost 15 days. There was no live session of yoga and meditation until August 10.

However, in their absence, people can access loads of their video teaching by signing up for the Mindsprings Practice Space.

On July 13, 2020, the couple had the last week of the Midsprings Live Session before Alistair and Daniel went on holiday on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9.30 am & 6 pm.
