Betty Jean Solomon was found dead at the couple’s home in Greenburgh on January 15, 1989, by her husband Paul Solomon. She had been shot nine times on her arms and back and received two pistol-whips as well.

She was born to her parents Jean and Robert Torrey. Betty was the eldest of four siblings in the family according to Oxygen.

She graduated from Tappan Zee High School in 1966 and studied at SUNY New Paltz.

Betty and Paul got married in 1970 in Nyack and then moved to Alaska, where Paul was stationed in the Air Force.

However, the couple later returned to New York City and Paul started working at Greenville Elementary School and Betty worked for a collection agency in Mamaroneck, NY.

She was found dead by her husband in the couple’s home in Greenburgh on January 15, 1989.

Betty Jean Solomon’s husband Paul Solomon is in his 70s today as of 2022.

However, he has not made any public appearance since his wife was killed and he appeared in some television shows and documentaries shortly after.

According to New York Post, a number associated with Paul Solomon has been deactivated and he did not respond to queries and requests for comments.

He must be living life now with his family, but information about him getting remarried after his wife was killed has not come to the surface yet.

Where Is Betty Jean Solomon Convicted Murderer Teacher Carolyn Warmus Now?

Carolyn Warmus now is free after serving 27 years in prison for Betty Jean Solomon’s murder.

Warmus was sentenced to prison on  June 26, 1992, by judge John Carey, she was freed on June 17, 2019, according to Iohud.

She has not made any public appearance after she was released from prison, but Oxygen is visiting the case once more.

Although Carolyn was convicted of Betty’s murder, she repeatedly said she was innocent. According to her Wikipedia profile, she said I can only ask for leniency because I’m innocent. If I’m guilty of anything at all it was simply being foolish enough to believe the lies and promises that Paul Solomon made to me at the time of her sentencing.
