Henry Robert Witherspoon was well-known for being the father of Kevin Hart who is a well-known stand-up comedian, actor, and producer from the United States of America. He has been in the news because he died recently.

He was born on November 13, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He holds American nationality and follows Christianity. He belongs to the African-American ethnicity. His father’s name was Darnell Witherspoon and his mother’s name was Rebecca Ababio.

He had a strong educational foundation and was well-qualified. He completed his schooling at a private college close to his home. He then continued his education at a university. However, nothing much is known about his education.

Henry Robert Witherspoon was a drug and alcohol addict. Because of this, his family had to deal with lots of problems.

He was married to Nancy Hart who was a computer analyst at the University of Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, she died in 2007 after battling ovarian cancer. They both have two sons together and their names are Kevin Hart and Robert Hart.

He also had five grandchildren, one from Robert and four from Kevin.
