CSI: NY star Hill Harper is a veteran in the acting industry. His first film credit goes back to 1993. Since then he has established himself as one of the biggest TV actors around.

Fans also know him for his philanthropy work in which he started research into makeup products and their effects on humans in creating cancer cells after he himself was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.  

He beat cancer and became an incredibly charitable actor. His roles on many TV series has cemented his status on TV.

Hill Harper Plans To Get Married To Girlfriend Chloe Flower

Harper has been dating his girlfriend Chloe Flower for a while. According to TheyBF, they started dating in 2012. Over the 8 years, they have been together they have been asked about getting married many times. 

Chloe Flower is a classical violinist, a pianist, and an activist who has won an award for her impact as a creative artist in the industry. Hill is also a philanthropist which makes sense as they clicked quite well from the starting of their relationship. 

In April 2019, they shared their plans to get married soon. Hill will obviously get hitched to the woman he loves soon. He also has a son that he adopted after he got a call in 2015 asking him to do so. By 2017, the adoption was made final.

How Did They Start Dating?

At the start of their relationship, they made a lot of appearances at award shows and events. Some tabloids criticized his choice to start a relationship with an Asian woman as he is an outspoken advocate of Black Love. 

No one could stand in the way of their love, however, as they have been dating for more than 8 years. 

Hill’s Ex Girlfriend And Previous Relationships

In the past, the leading man has been linked with some high profile names. In fact, he was linked with Benjamin Buttons star Taraji P. Henson. They dated from 2004 to 2006, the pair were in a serious relationship that received much public attention right from the very beginning. 

Henson had just started getting media attention for her role as Yvette in Baby Boy. In an interview, he said that he had a fear of commitment at the time. The leading man said that his parent’s divorce had a lot to do with his fear. While they were broken up, he recalled her as a beautiful strong woman, even going so far as to say she is the most amazing and funniest woman he has ever met.

According to his own accounts in the interview, they dated for around 2 years. he defended himself saying that it was a happy and loving relationship but not all relationships are meant to end in marriage. 

He also said that the couple did not want to label their relationship as a success or a failure. 

Most public reports point towards him leaving Henson due to cold feet. 

Hill Harper’s Age 

Hill Harper was born on May 17, 1966, in Iowa City, Iowa, U.S. to father Harry D. Harper and mother Marilyn Harper. he is 54 years old as of August 2020. 

He went to Harvard Law and got a degree from the esteemed university. He had 3 degrees, all from Ivy League colleges, but he moved to Los Angeles as he wanted to pursue acting.

Apart from acting, he has published books using the skills he picked up from university. From an early age, he was a member of Boston’s Black Folks Theater Company, one of the most respected and acclaimed African-American theatre tropes in all of America.
