Liudmila Dmitriyevna Samsonova is a Russian tennis player. She also represented Italy from 2014 until 2018. Samsonova has a career-high singles ranking of No. 25 in the world. In June 2021, she won her maiden WTA Tour championship, a WTA 500 title, in the 2021 German Open.

She also has six ITF Circuit championships to her name. Samsonova led the Russian team to its first triumph since 2008 in the 2020-21 Billie Jean King Cup, winning all five of her singles and doubles matches.
