The catastrophic crash happened above Dallas Executive Airport when spectators were enjoying an aviation show. For reasons that have yet to be determined, two vintage military planes collided and crashed to the ground.
Around 1:20 p.m., the FAA said, a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra were involved in a collision and subsequent crash.
In a tweet, the National Transportation Safety Board said they would be sending an investigation team to the coalition on Sunday.
