Revelations of sexual assault and rape allegations have rocked Hollywood for some time. Many of the industry’s top players, from producers to actors, have been embroiled in scandals as the revelations keep coming. Actor Jon Grissom has become one in a long list of names accused of sexual leaks in the past.

Corey Feldman, a much younger actor, has accused Jon Grissom of sexual abuse. The younger actor worked in two films with Jon Grissom as a child. Feldman, 46, released a seven-minute video in which he shared information about six people he allegedly sexually abused. Feldman has spoken out seriously on the subject, even mentioning it in his memoir Coreyography , which he published in 2013. He has shared hopes of actually making a film about his life and pedophilia in Hollywood. In his memoir, one of the suspects’ characters was named Ron Crimson, and Feldman revealed on an episode of Dr. Oz series that the character was actually referring to Jon Grissom.

It confirmed speculations that had swirled since the book was published. Feldman said Dr. Oz said the name change in the book was required for legal reasons and his lawyers insisted it be changed, even though he settled on a name that was closest to Jon Grissom.

Who is Jon Grissom?

As already mentioned, Jon Grissom is an actor. However, what follows is a closer look at the life of the man against whom these serious charges have been leveled.

Early life

Grissom was born Cloyd Jon Grissom. He was born in Alaska but attended high school in Arizona. Although most credited as an actor, he has actually only worked on two films; License to Drive in 1988 and Dream a Little Dream in 1989. Corey Feldman and his friend Corey Haim (now dead) both starred in the films. Jon Grissom was a trusted friend of the Feldmans and he was assigned as personal assistant to Corey Feldman, whose career was promising at the time.

Relationship to the two Coreys

Jon Grissom joined the TwoCoreys as Corey Feldman’s personal assistant. Feldman wrote in his book that he and Jon had become friends by age 15 and regularly partied at clubs where they also allegedly used drugs. Feldman claimed he was given cocaine and crack by Jon, which prompted him to be sexually assaulted.

Grissom also seems to have had some previous run-ins with the law. He has a criminal record, having been arrested in 2001 for child molestation. After the show by Dr. Oz released a video stating that Dr. Oz believes Jon Grisson served a sentence in 2003 but may be a fugitive as he never registered as a sex offender. This violates “Megan’s Law,” making it imperative for sex offenders to register with the state.

Active on social media

Although Jon Grissom has remained on the allegations, little is known about his whereabouts. He is said to live in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. He’s still relatively active on social media platforms, namely My Space and Facebook, and has posted pictures of himself and the “Two Coreys” when they were all working together. This is a particular pain point for Corey Feldman.

A target of public anger

Jon Grissom was quickly attacked on social media after Corey Feldman’s allegations came out. Another Jon Grissom was even sadly cut in the crosshairs of public anger against the former actor simply for sharing a name with him.

Feldman, meanwhile, spoke to the Los Angeles Police Department over the phone while at the Dr. oz show The force said there was no open investigation at the time, although they were made aware of the situation. Feldman would have to personally file a formal report if he were to finally make Grissom pay for the alleged actions against him and the late Haim.
