Sarah Maguire, a 29-year-old woman from Tulsa, was reportedly murdered by two people after having sex in her bed.

Brinlee Denison, 25, and Nicholas Johnson, 28, are suspected of murdering Sarah, an Oklahoma lady with whom they reportedly had intercourse in her bed before killing her, according to news sources.

According to reports, they used a crowbar to violently beat her in her Tulsa house on Jan. 4 as she was “struggling to survive” in the next room, according to a Tulsa police affidavit obtained by KNWA.

The two are accused of first-degree murder and theft of a car.

At around 5 p.m. on Friday, police conducted a welfare check at Maguire’s house and discovered her unresponsive in her living room. According to the complaint, she suffered “clear evidence of damage to her head and face” and was declared dead at the site.

Officers discovered from Maguire’s family that her vehicle and credit cards had been taken during their inquiry. Denison, of Sapulpa, Okla., and Johnson, of Tulsa, was caught sleeping in the stolen car at a Whataburger in Fayetteville, Ark., the next day.

According to the affidavit, after being arrested, the couple “completely confessed to striking the victim over the head with a crowbar, leaving the scene by stealing the victim’s vehicle, and paying the trip with the victim’s stolen credit cards.”

Denison and Johnson were in an “intimate relationship,” according to Johnson, but she was simultaneously dating Maguire. According to the affidavit, Johnson “was envious of the victim’s friendship with Denison.”

“We had sex in the victim’s bed after the murder,” Johnson stated, adding that “he could still hear the victim in the living room battling to survive, while he was having sex with Denison in the bedroom.”

He also stated that he was aware that Maguire was still alive.

Johnson informed the authorities. According to the statement, Denison assisted him in planning the murder and threw the clothing the two had worn out the vehicle window as they left. He said she drove most of the trip.

When Denison wasn’t driving, she took Maguire’s credit cards and other electronics and moved monies to the pair’s personal accounts, according to Johnson.

Maguire’s sister Jamie complimented the Tulsa Police Department for their work in a devastating Facebook post as her family mourned their loss.

“This week has been a tremendous blow to our family,” she added. “In a senseless act of violence, my sister Sarah was killed. Please pray for our family as we go through this difficult time. Rest assured, justice is being served, and we offer the Tulsa Police Department our deepest appreciation.”

Each of the defendants is being jailed on a $1 million bail.
According to KNWA, they are anticipated to be extradited back to Oklahoma from the Washington County Jail in Arkansas for a future court date.
