William Shatner is an actor, director, novelist and singer most recognized for his unique voice, as well as his appearances in Star Trek and Boston Legal.

Shatner worked with the Royal Mount Theater Company during the summers. In 1952, he graduated from university and joined the National Repertory Theater of Ottawa.

Shatner also featured in shows at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, where he collaborated with Sir Tyrone Guthrie.

Shatner began his career as a kid actor in radio shows for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on March 22, 1931, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
