Will Pulisic is the  the cousin of US men’s national team and Chelsea star Christian Pulisic. He is an American professional soccer goalkeeper who currently plays for Major League Soccer team Austin FC.

Life History

William Pulisic was born on April 16, 1998 in Mechanicsville, Virginia, to his father Matt and mother Jennifer Pulisic.  He comes from an athletic family. Christian Pulisic, a standout on the United States national team and in the English Premier League with Chelsea, is his first cousin, and his twin elder brothers, Thomas and Joseph, played baseball and football at William & Mary and Old Dominion, respectively.

Career

Pulisic used to play for Richmond, United when he was younger. He was a part of the Borussia Dortmund U19 squad, just like his cousin who used to play for the club. He played in eight games. He has represented the United States in international youth competitions. In 2015, he was called up and named to the national under-17 team’s final 23-man squad for the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, with his cousin, Christian, who made 24 appearances.

On July 7, 2017, Pulisic joined North Carolina FC U23 for the remainder of the 2017 season. He also played in the PDL for Colorado Rapids U23 in 2018, and he returned to North Carolina FC U23’s in 2019 but did not play.
