In addition, the friends are able to find out a lot about themselves, especially given that they had always felt safer with a video game than the rest of society. Love started to spark, as well as the opening of a new universe to create new problems for the friends. All of this has fans wanting to know if there will be a fourth season of Log Horizon.

Will Log Horizon get a fourth season?

Unfortunately, Log Horizon has not been renewed yet, and there have not been any official words put out by the writers of the show to give some clarity. What makes it all the more difficult to predict is that the show has not been released at the same time during each new season.

What might happen in a potential fourth season?

Fan theories have started to pop up about the show continuing, which might be called Nightingale’s Song, after volume 13 of the novel that the show is based on. These theories started to pop up in the middle of season three, as there were some parts of Nighingale’s Song that appeared to be thrown in.

Another speculation is that the writers might just jump over volume 13 and head straight to volume 14, Twilight Orphan. This theory was derived from the same fact that since the writers have already touched on some subject matter in volume 13, then there is no reason not to go straight to volume 14.
