Alexandria Verner (born on August 17, 2002) was a 20-year-old Michigan State University student who lost her life during the MSU mass shooting. Besides Al, two more lost their lives, and 5 got injured.

The man responsible for the death of the innocent youngsters was identified as Anthony McRae, who faced felony charges in 2019 for carrying a concealed weapon.

Everybody in the State of Michigan is heartbroken and praying for the families who lost their loved ones. Sources say that notes recovered from McRae’s pocket revealed that he was planning to target two schools in New Jersey. Police taking precautions closed the schools for a few days.

What Happened At MSU?

On the night of February 13, 2023, Anthony McRae, an East Lansing resident, entered the premises of MSU (Michigan State University) carrying his evil plans. He was there to inflict damage on others for some unknown reason.

Although Police is yet to reveal the type of weapon Anthony used, our sources suggest that the suspect was carrying a handgun.

At 8:18 p.m. Michigan State Police learned about gunshots being fired at the Uni’s premises. The law enforcers rushed to the scene, but McRae had already fired bullets at innocent students. As per the reports, Anthony continued the blood bath for three hours and then shot himself to death.

Those who lost their lives include Verner, Brian Fraser, and Arielle Anderson. The five Uni students who suffered gun wounds are fighting for their lives at E.W. Sparrow Hospital.

Why did Anthony McRae Target MSU?

Everybody wants to know why McRae opened fire at Michigan State University, but as of now, we did not get to hear any concrete reason, although sources are saying that Anthony’s deteriorating mental condition was the reason behind the incident.

Sources revealed that Al studied at Baker Preschool and Schalm Elementary School. She was an excellent athlete and an all-state softball player. Besides playing softball, Verner was also a gifted basketball and volleyball player.

She created many records while representing her school. During an interview, Billy Shellenbarger, the CPS superintendent, described Alexandria as a phenomenal human being who excelled at whatever she did.

Despite her athletic abilities, Alexandria chose to focus on her academics after high school. As per Detroit Free Press, Al was studying wanted to become a forensic expert and was studying Integrated Biology and Anthropology.
