On July 29, 2013, at the age of 64, Betty Sue Lynn, the eldest child of Loretta Lynn and Oliver Vanetta Lynn, passed away. In Waverly, Tennessee, Betty Sue passed away from emphysema-related complications. In 1948, on November 26th, Betty was born. She left behind five grandchildren as well as two daughters, Lynn Markworth and Audrey Dyer.

Emphysema, a persistent lung illness that prevents oxygen from the lungs from reaching the circulation, is thought to be the cause of Betty’s death, according to reports.
