Biography:

Demi Moore was born in Roswell, New Mexico on November 11, 1962. She dropped out of high school to pursue acting. After making her acting debut in 1981, she became a regular on the soap opera General Hospital.

She subsequently starred in Blame it on Rio and St. Elmo’s Fire, which gained her further attention. Her film, About Last Night, established her as a Hollywood star.

In 1990, she starred in Ghost, which was the highest grossing film of that year and it earned her a Golden Globe nomination. In 1996, she became the highest-paid actress in film history.
