Eddie Bravo is an American Martial arts instructor, stand up comedian, podcaster, and musician. Eddie Bravo was born on May 15, 1970, in Santa Ana, California in the U.S. He is the founder of “10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu where he trains people in martial art.

Eddie Bravo is originally a Mexican whose original name was Edger A. Cano but he later changed his surname legally to his stepfather’s name, Bravo. Eddie Bravo has a passion for music since his childhood and he started by learning how to drum and play the guitar. Eddie Bravo formed so many bands with the determination of becoming a famous musician one day.

Eddie Bravo, in the pursuit of becoming a famous musician, joined Hollywood in 1991 to begin his music career where he formed a band which he named, “Blackened Kill Symphony.” Eddie Bravo needed to get his body in shape in order to maintain his image as an upcoming celebrity so he decided to take a gym class which he went to for only two weeks. Eddi then joined a karate class and began to train. The victory of Royce Gracie in the Ultimate Fighting Championship compelled Eddie Bravo to join the Brazilian Jui-Jitsu.

Eddie Bravo after graduation was involved in so many karate tournaments which he won on many occasions. Eddie Bravo retired from his martial art career in 2014. Eddie opened his first 10th planet jiu-jitsu school in Los Angeles, California. Bravo also founded Eddie Bravo Invitational (EBI).
