Zooey Deschanel just celebrated her 41st birthday and her man, ‘Property Brothers’ star Jonathan Scott, took to his platform to pay tribute to the actress! Check out his sweet words!

To mark the special occasion, the man shared a number of pics showing some of their best moments, including a snap of Zooey with some flowers in hand and one of the two of them having fun at a Halloween bash.

Alongside all of these memories, Jonathan gushed over his lady love, writing in the caption: ‘You are caring, talented, hilarious, sweet, and as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. I know we cannot celebrate like we did last year, but I have a few surprises up my sleeve. You fill my life with joy.’

Of course, he was referring to the fact that properly celebrating her birthday this year would not possible because of the pandemic and all the restrictions.

However, fans raved about his promise of still doing something special for Zooey.

This new reason to celebrate also comes a few months after the two of them also marked their one year anniversary!

At the time, Zooey wrote on her platform: ‘One year ago today, I met this kind, caring, hilarious, generous, creative, nerdy, handsome and all-around incredible human. I’m grateful for every single smile, kiss, hug, snuggle, laugh, scrabble game, escape room, breakfast, lunch, and dinner we share together.’

The happy couple went public with their romance back in September of 2019 and have been in a loving relationship ever since!

As for how they met, it was on an episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, and they apparently hit it off instantly!

At the time they were first seen holding hands, Zooey had been separated from her now-ex-husband for a few months but the divorce was finalized in 2020.
