Paris Hilton’s aunt, Kyle Richards opened up about her niece’s broken engagement, claiming that she kind of expected it to happen! Here is what the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had to say!

Richards was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen when she discussed Hilton and Chris Zylka’s split after getting engaged.

As you may know, Kyle is Paris’ mother Kathy’s half-sister since they have the same mom – Kathleen Richards.

When asked if Paris calling off her engagement took her by surprise, Richards admitted that it actually did not!

‘Not really. Not really, no. I mean, I know she was really happy when she got engaged, but I was not surprised. She is so busy. It is really hard to be in a relationship. She lives on a plane, just traveling everywhere,’ the aunt explained her point of view.

Furthermore, Paris has been keeping rather silent about the split, but Kyle said she has a plan to get her niece to open up about it publicly.

‘Man is she media trained. It is hard to get anything out of her. I interviewed her recently,’ the host, Cohen complained.

‘We’ll come on together. You’ll get a new Paris,’ the woman assured him.

As for Hilton and Zylka’s relationship, the two dated for two years before putting an end to their romance last November.

A source told ET that the relationship was moving too fast for Paris and she realized that he was not ‘the one’ either.

That being said, she did not hesitate to say while a guest co-host on The Talk, that she was actually ‘doing really good’ and having ‘me time.’

‘I just feel that, when I fall in love, I fall in love fast and hard and it was this whirlwind romance,’ Paris added.
