According to Jeff Thomas’ agent, the late male model actually fell while taking a selfie rather than committing suicide as was originally claimed.

According to Luli Batista of the Sovereign Talent Group, “I just can’t believe it’s true that he intentionally did this,” she told DailyMail.com.

She was speaking about the tragedy that became public last Wednesday after the 35-year-old’s corpse was discovered at the base of a Miami apartment building.

Batista wasn’t persuaded that Thomas intentionally jumped, despite what the witnesses said.

The agent speculated, thinking suicide was highly improbable given that she’d spoken to the Floridian less than 24 hours prior to his passing, that he might have fell while taking a selfie.

She claimed that the two had been conversing amicably via text, during which he allegedly made jokes about an impending audition. They even planned to speak on the phone to talk about Thomas’ “move to Miami” and a new business venture that he was launching, which he allegedly couldn’t wait to share with her.

Batista bemoaned, “He seemed overjoyed and pleased of himself. He was content, inspired, and eager to take his next move while simply enjoying life.

I am so shocked, she continued. He was such a lovely and kind young man.

Her hypothesis ran counter to a March 11 Facebook post Skylar Ray Thomas shared, in which Thomas’ brother claimed that his brother committed suicide after dealing with “addiction and mental health challenges.”
