Reported first by Billboard, Post Malone is now the eighth artist to hit the milestone of 10 weeks on the Billboard Artist 100 at position number one. Austin Post hit the Billboard Artist 100 for the week of the 26th of October, becoming the top musical artist in the United States for ten weeks in a row.

Post’s new record, Hollywood’s Bleeding, is still sitting at number 2 on the Billboard 200 with 99,000 alums sold claims the organization, Nielsen Music. The album was number one for three weeks they claimed.

Moreover, Post has nine songs on the Billboard Hot 100 including Circles, which hit #4 again. Currently, Post Malone is tied with the singer, Adele, for the seventh-most weeks spent at number 1. Billboard reported that Taylor Swift ranks at number one with 37 weeks atop of the charts, whereas Drake and The Weeknd follow after.

Reportedly, the Artist 100 chart measures activity across a number of parameters, including fan interaction on social media, radio and streaming, as well as total record and single sales. This is otherwise good news for Post Malone, who has encountered difficulties of his own in the past.

Reported by TMZ back in 2018, the outlet got into contact with the singer after the plane he was on struggled to land. After the plane finally landed, the singer took to his Twitter account to say he couldn’t believe how many people were hoping for his death.

“But not today,” the singer added. Moreover, some in the hip-hop community and on social media have accused Post Malone of cultural appropriation, more specifically, a “culture vulture,” for his stylistic blend of musical influences, including hip-hop, rock, and country.

According to a report from the Miami Herald, Post Malone also showed up to a Miami nightclub recently and handed out a cooler holding $50,000 in one-dollar bills. A spokesperson for the venue confirmed to reporters that the Stoney artist threw out $50,000 in cash.
