Summer Danielle Altice (born December 23, 1979) is an actress and model from the United States. Summer Bartholomew, Miss USA 1975, was her inspiration. Altice was born in the California town of Fountain Valley. She was selected to the Academic All-WAC team while studying and playing volleyball at San Diego State University. She won the cover girl contest for Young and Modern (YM) magazine in 1995, and she was on the cover of YM’s November issue that year. She then signed with Elite modelling agency and was on the covers of GQ and men’s magazines Maxim and Max. In 2002, she was rated 100th among the “102 Sexiest Women In The World” by Stuff magazine. For August 2000, Altice is Playboy’s Playmate of the Month. She made one of her first cinematic appearances in the movie Wet & Wild: Slippery When Wet, which was the ninth in a series of popular Playboy films involving playmates with water. She went on to appear in two more Playboy movies before landing roles in The Scorpion King, Grind, and the Showtime series ChromiumBlue.com. On August 16, 2010, she went on Dating in the Dark as a “DJ” in order to keep her modelling experience out of the dating process. Summer Altice continues to model while also working as a professional DJ at a number of Los Angeles nightclubs. “Every now and then, when I go into a bar, I hear people mutter, ‘Let’s see whether she can do this,'” she has remarked. “I roll my eyes because if I were a guy, they wouldn’t say that.” ‘Wow, what a surprise!’ they typically exclaim as they leave.
