Mindy Alyse Friedman was born on December 21, 1977, in Ohio, the United States to parents, Susan M. Friedman and Jeffrey I. Friedman. Her father Jeffrey is the chairman and president of Associated Estates Realty Corporation, a real estate investment trust in Richmond Heights, Ohio.

Concerning her education, Mindy Alyse Friedman graduated from the Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio before proceeding to New York University. She previously worked in an investment banking analyst program at Lehman Brothers in New York.

Mindy Alyse Friedman rose into the spotlight following her marriage to NFL executive Howie Roseman. The pair tied the knot at her parents’ home on the evening of July 18, 2005.
