Kenneth Nigh was the partner of Jenna Oakley for more than three years.

He also became the partner-in-crime of Ms. Oakley in murdering her stepmother, Rhonda Oakley.

Kenneth Nigh In Rhonda Oakley Murder Case Explored

Kenneth Nigh and Jenna Oakley decided to murder Rhonda Oakley, later known as the Rhonda Oakley Murder case.

The two were in a relationship and had been dating for many years, which was not permitted by the Oakley family.

As Rhonda was Jenna’s stepmother, their tension can be clearly visible.

Moreover, both Rhonda and Jenna’s father, Philip, was against their daughter dating an older boyfriend.

Thus, such pressure from the family prompted Jenna to join hands with Kenneth and slice Rhonda’s neck with a kitchen wife.

Rhonda’s lifeless body was first found by David Oakley, Jenna’s little brother when he returned from school.

Initially, Jenna was suspected of being kidnapped by the murderer; however, it was later proved that she was indeed the murderer and in the run.

Three days later, the young couple was arrested in New Mexico in Rhonda’s Honda Civic.

To be precise, he did not die from the suicide attempt but from his injuries.

He was airlifted to Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital for serious self-inflicted injuries, where he died there.

On the other hand, Jenna was sentenced to 15 years in prison for manslaughter and theft.

She was treated as an adult in the case as the judge ruled the case “particularly cruel.”
